Welcome to Aetherflux - the thought-to-action app. It's a simple-to-use long-form dictation app that captures your thoughts and can pass them on to your preferred note-taking app or AI agent to be acted on, even when driving*.
Aetherflux can start automatically on opening, capture anything you say, even when the phone is locked, and transcribe it, on-device, as you speak.
Silence detection ensures no long silences.
Transcriptions from each of your recordings can be viewed in History. The associated audio recordings can be replayed or shared. Transcriptions are also stored in a continuous markdown file on your phone and optionally in iCloud Drive. Everything is private and human readable: your recordings and transcripts are stored on your device and never shared with us.
Transcriptions and audio recordings can be shared manually, or automatically sent to a destination of your choice. This may be, for example, your favourite note-taking app like Obsidian, or you AI agent, like OpenClaw, for further action.
We want to buid the best voice interface for your digital life. How do you want to use it? Any missing features that would really help you? Let us know and we'll add them as quickly as we can!
*Note: CarPlay support coming in iOS 26.4

Overgaard AI Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the Aetherflux mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.
When you start a recording session, the App captures audio from your device's microphone. Audio is saved locally on your device as a CAF file.
The App uses Apple's on-device speech recognition to convert your spoken words into text. All speech processing happens entirely on your device — no audio or transcript data is sent to our servers or any third-party service for transcription.
If you choose to set up a share connection, the App can search your device's Contacts to help you find a recipient's name, phone number, or email address. Contact data is used only to populate the connection settings and is not stored beyond what you enter into a connection. The App does not upload, transmit, or retain your contact list.
The App stores your settings (such as auto-start preferences, share connections, and iCloud toggle state) in local device storage (UserDefaults).
Audio and transcripts are stored locally on your device (or in your personal iCloud Drive, if you enable that option) so you can review, edit, and share them.
Share connections are used solely to direct your transcript to a destination you choose (such as an email address, phone number, or messaging app).
Contacts are queried locally on your device to help you configure share connections. No contact data is transmitted externally.
All data — recordings, transcripts, session history, and preferences — is stored on your device or in your personal iCloud Drive account if you enable that option. We do not operate any servers and do not have access to your data.
Files are stored in the App's Documents directory, which is accessible to you via the iOS Files app.
The App does not transmit any data automatically. Your recordings and transcripts only leave the device when you explicitly choose to share them, using one of the following methods:
Sending a transcript via email, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, or another configured connection
Using the iOS share sheet to send a transcript or audio file to another app
iCloud Drive sync (if you enable it in Settings)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
The App uses only native Apple frameworks. No third-party SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporting services, or advertising networks are integrated into the App. We do not collect any usage analytics or telemetry.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Microphone and speech recognition access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
Contacts access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings. The App will continue to function without it; you simply will not be able to search your contacts when setting up share connections.
iCloud Drive sync can be toggled off in the App's Settings tab. When disabled, all data remains on your device only.
Deleting your data — You can delete individual sessions from the History tab, or delete the App entirely to remove all associated data from your device. iCloud Drive data can be managed through the iOS Files app or iCloud settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
